Our gorgeous childcare centre is a refurbished home that has been newly renovated, creating a warm, inviting and stimulating environment for your child. Our facilities include dedicated play areas, meals and sleep areas as well as an outdoor playground and garden.

Our curriculum follows the Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework & My Time, Our Place Framework, with a focus on play-based learning. We encourage your child to develop their natural creativity and imagination but also a sense of bravery, confidence, and independence.

Local Community
Vibes

We are local, live local and support our local Brighton community through regular excursions to nearby sights. Your child will get to know their local butcher, baker and baby-cino maker as they explore local attractions, parks and amenities.

Age Groups

At Brighton Kids we look after children as young as 6 weeks up to 5 years, preparing them for kinder.

Babies Room – 6 weeks to 12 months
Waddlers Room – 12 months to 2 years
Toddlers Room – 2 years to 3 years
Kinder Room – 3 years to 5 years

Enrolment Information

Our fees are currently $150 per day per child and will be processed via direct debit on a weekly basis.

Your daily fee includes, nappies, wipes, bedding, 5 meals per day, milk and incursions/excursions.

Childcare Subsidy

Please apply through the Family Assistance Office to check how much you are eligible for.

If you’re eligible for the Federal Government Childcare subsidy, you will only need to cover the out-of-pocket expenses.

Hi, I’m Kate!

I’m Kate Wallman, founder and director of Brighton Kids. I‘m also a single mum to my gorgeous daughter Harlow, a Brighton local AND a childcare educator with over 23 years’ experience in the industry.

I’ve managed every type of childcare centre under the sun, from small private centres to big corporates, and as a parent myself, I wanted to do things differently.

I’ve opened the doors to Brighton Kids to bring back old-school childcare values, where hugs and cuddles are the norm, children learn and develop each day through play, explore their local community and feel right at home with loving educators who truly know their individual quirks – as if your best friend was looking after them.

I’m committed to creating a loving and safe environment for your precious little one, and in the process, making your back-to-work life just that little bit easier and worry-free.
